Shelly Rouse-Freitag is an experienced flute and piccolo player who has been actively involved in various symphonies and educational institutions since the early 2000s. Shelly holds a degree in Flute performance and teacher certification with highest honors from the University of Michigan. Currently, Shelly serves as a Second flute and piccolo player for the Michigan Philharmonic and Third flute and piccolo player for the Warren Symphony Orchestra. Additionally, Shelly works as a Beginning Woodwind Instructor at Walled Lake Consolidated Schools and as a Flute sectional coach for high school and middle school bands.
