JaCinda Sumara currently serves as the Executive Manager of Technology and Innovation at Walled Lake Consolidated Schools, a position held since September 2024. Previously, JaCinda held the role of Executive Director of Technology and Innovation at Wayne-Westland Community Schools from September 2021 to September 2024, where a comprehensive needs assessment was completed to enhance the Department of Technology and Innovation. With extensive experience in educational technology and career readiness, JaCinda has held various leadership positions, including Director of Career Technical Education, Principal at William D. Ford Career Tech Center, and Senior Consultant at Oakland Schools, where significant programs like "d. Solve: Design Thinking Institute" and "Project: Industry Certification" were developed. Educational qualifications include degrees and leadership programs from Michigan State University, Wayne State University, University of Detroit Mercy, Albion College, as well as specialized training from the US Chamber of Commerce and Leadership Oakland.
