Michael Bayer is a seasoned project manager and senior planner with extensive experience in community planning and infrastructure development. Currently serving as a Project Manager in Planning at Wallace Montgomery since November 2022, Bayer previously held leadership roles at the Maryland Department of Planning, where responsibilities included managing a state planning unit focused on community revitalization and economic development. Bayer founded PlanChampion LLC, providing consulting services and collaborating on federal planning initiatives. Additional experience includes senior planning roles with Environmental Resources Management, HNTB, and local government agencies. Michael Bayer holds a Master of Urban Planning from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a Bachelor of Arts in English and History from Marquette University.
