Originally from Pieksämäki, Finland, Anja joined Walker Warner in 2012 with a Master’s of Science in Architecture from Helsinki University of Technology (Aalto University). She is most intrigued by exploring the human scale of a place, in order to create spaces that are both detailed and comfortable. She draws her inspiration from the thoughtful consideration of how buildings interact with their surroundings as expressed by Alvar Aalto’s works, or such masterpieces as Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater.

As a Project Manager, she looks forward to more rewarding moments of meticulous design work coming to fruition, collaborating with individuals who are equally passionate about the process.
