Edward Redmond has over 30 years of experience in engineering, particularly in gas operations and corrosion science. Currently serving as an Engineer in Gas Control/System Operation at Wales & West Utilities since May 2008, Edward monitors and controls the natural gas transportation serving Wales and the South West of England, leveraging extensive knowledge of gas operations and compliance with industry regulations. Prior experience includes a role as a Corrosion Engineer at Advantica, where Edward developed research methods for corrosion in various environments, and a position as a Laboratory Technician at British Gas. Additionally, Edward began a career in engineering at British Nuclear Fuels Limited as a Fitter/Turner. Edward earned a Master's degree in Corrosion Science & Engineering from The University of Manchester, specializing in corrosion theory for various materials.
