Ayesha Curmally is a partner at Walder Wyss. She is a notary in the canton of Basel-Stadt, a Certified Specialist SBA in Inheritance Law as well as a lawyer in the Private Clients team of Walder Wyss. Her main areas of practice include marriage and inheritance law, estate and succession planning, settlement of estates (including distribution), corporate and commercial law and real property law. Additionally to advising clients and notarizing deeds in these fields of law, Ayesha Curmally notarizes share transfers, marriage and inheritance contracts and other transactions under German law.
Born in 1972, Ayesha Curmally studied at the universities St. Gallen and Basel (lic. iur. 1998), obtained the admission to the bar in the canton of Basel-Landschaft (2000), the admission to practice as a notary in the canton of Basel-Stadt (2005) and successfully completed the education as a Certified Specialist SBA Inheritance Law (2008). Before joining Walder Wyss she worked for the legal services of a large Swiss bank and as a senior associate for a leading Swiss law firm in Basel (2002–2014).
