Valerie Hernandez serves as the Vice President of Talent Acquisition at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist since July 2021, bringing extensive experience in the field. Prior to this role, Valerie held leadership positions at Inova Health System as Head of Talent Acquisition and Amtrak as Talent Acquisition Lead. Valerie's career also includes roles as Sr. Talent Consultant at pureIntegration and Bilingual HR Specialist at Carquest Canada, complemented by a foundation as a Bilingual HR Generalist at Nortel Networks. Academically, Valerie earned a Master of Science in Human Resources Development from Villanova University, a Bachelor's Degree with concentrations in Marketing and Human Resources from North Carolina State University, and holds an HR Leadership Certificate from Villanova University.
