Kristy Toroa is an accomplished Project Management Office (PMO) Manager at Waikato-Tainui since August 2023, where responsibilities include leading PMO activities and implementing a new project management approach. Previously, Kristy served as the Integrated Programme Development Lead at Te Pou from March 2021 to July 2023, focusing on the integration of information-based programmes and workforce development in the mental health sector. An Independent Consultant from January 2019 to March 2021, Kristy managed the transition of the National Mental Health and Addiction Key Performance Indicator Programme to Te Pou. Earlier roles include Talent and Delivery Manager and Talent Coach at Enlighten Designs, General Manager at Linkage Ltd, and various positions in human resources at Wise Group and the Department of Corrections. Kristy holds a Bachelor of Commerce with First-Class Honours in Human Resource Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Employment Relations and Psychology from the University of Auckland.
