Julia Thongphuw has extensive experience in animal care and customer service, currently serving as a Customer Service Representative at Wagly Veterinary Hospital & Pet Campus since April 2019 and as an Animal Behavior & Training Specialist at spcaLA since October 2015. In the latter role, Julia teaches puppy preschool and basic obedience classes, trains shelter dogs, and assists the public with behavior inquiries. Previous positions include Manager at Doggy Daycare and Spa, Receptionist & Social Media Assistant at Bark! Bark! Doggy Daycare, and Director of New Clients and Behavior Assessment at Wag Club. Julia also has experience as a Veterinary Assistant and has volunteer experience with the ASPCA. Julia holds a Bachelor's degree in International Development Studies with Applied Social Sciences from the University of Chester (2004-2007).
