Mathieu Lefebvre has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of biogas and renewable energy. Mathieu started their career at Air Liquide Advanced Technologies as an intern, where they conducted a comprehensive analysis of the technical and economic applications of fuel cells in the aerospace industry. After completing their internship, they continued working with Air Liquide as an Engineer, specializing in research on hydrogen-fueled fuel cells. Mathieu also took on the role of Coordinator for collaborative research projects and initiated a sustainability initiative within the company.
In 2008, Mathieu Lefebvre moved on to become a Product Manager at Air Liquide Advanced Technologies, where they developed and managed the biogas purification business. Mathieu was responsible for market analysis, product development, project coordination, and contract negotiation. Mathieu held this position until 2013, when they took on the role of Business Development Manager at Air Liquide Advanced Business. In this position, they focused on developing new biogas purification offerings, investing in and operating biogas purification units, and training new recruits and business developers in target countries.
In 2015, Mathieu Lefebvre joined Waga Energy as the CEO and President. Waga Energy is a biogas valorization startup that designs, integrates, invests, and operates purification units for the production of biomethane from waste storage installations.
