James Stewart is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the Assistant Director of Career & Technology for Waco ISD since December 2023. Previously, James held the position of Dean of CTE Academies at Waco Independent School District from July 2021 to December 2023 and served as School Principal at Waco ISD from July 2018 to July 2021. James's career in education also includes roles as Assistant Principal at Waco High School and Teacher/Coach at Lake Air Middle School and Waco High School, spanning from August 2002 to July 2018. Prior to entering the education sector, James worked as a Credit Manager at Wells Fargo Financial from May 2001 to August 2002. Educational qualifications include a Master of Education in Educational Leadership obtained from Tarleton State University in 2011 and a Bachelor of Business in Management and Finance from Texas State University in 2001.
