Assem Zhakipova, FCCA, PMP, is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as the Regional Finance Director for Equipment and Services at Wabtec Corporation since July 2020, Assem previously held senior positions at GE Transportation as RUCIS Senior Finance Manager and Regional Controller. Assem has also contributed as an Independent Director at Ulba Metallurgical Plant JSC and served on the Board of Directors for both JV Akbastau JSC and Astana Innovations. With a solid foundation in finance from the University of Cambridge and KIMEP, Assem's career includes significant experience with PricewaterhouseCoopers, both as Manager and Assistant Manager in the Capital Markets Services Group.
