Matthew Pearson is a News Photographer at WABE, responsible for creating photo and video content. Prior to this role, Matthew served as the Communications Director for Danielle Hawk for Congress, managing social media, media interactions, and creating press materials. Matthew also has experience as an Administrative and Executive Assistant, Chief of Staff for the Georgia House of Representatives, Special Education Paraprofessional, and Coordinator for the Alachua County Labor Coalition. With a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government, Matthew has an extensive background in communications, organizing campaigns, and providing support in various roles.
