Garry is serving as the Executive Director of the Colorado State Fire Chiefs representing Colorado’s senior fire service leaders. He is a Senior Fellow at the Buechner Institute for Governance in the School of Public Affairs at the University of Colorado Denver and pro bono is sharing his experience and knowledge with the Firefighter Cancer Support Network as their Executive Director.

Additionally, he is a Principal in the professional services and consulting company, Briese and Associates LLC, and is a member of the corporate Board of Directors of WS Darley Company, an international manufacturer & distributor for the military and emergency services.

Mr. Briese has a B.A. in International Relations and Masters in Public Administration.
