Robert Tysver, CPA has a diverse and extensive work experience. Robert most recently served as the Chief Financial Officer at WH Bass, Inc. General Contractors, starting in January 2023. Prior to that, they held the role of Controller / VP Finance at the same company from July 2020 to December 2022.
Before joining WH Bass, Inc., Robert worked at Builders Insurance Group as the Controller and Director of Finance & Accounting from December 2018 to May 2020. Robert then served as the Assistant Controller - Accounting at Safe-Guard Products from March 2017 to December 2018.
From April 2015 to March 2017, Robert held the role of NSS Controller at PulteGroup, where they oversaw the activities of the shared service department and ensured accurate financial information dissemination, as well as adherence to internal accounting policies and procedures. Robert also coordinated and supported internal and external audits and tax requirements.
Prior to PulteGroup, Robert worked at Invesco Ltd. as the Corporate Accounting Manager and Senior Systems Analyst from April 2009 to January 2015. During their tenure, they managed a team responsible for journal entries, reconciliations, processes, and SOX controls. Robert also led the successful implementation of the accounting JE and reconciliation SaaS platform, BlackLine.
Additionally, Robert has previous experience as a Senior Accountant at Porter Keadle Moore from February 2006 to March 2009, where they assisted clients with financial statement preparation and review, internal control structure review, and supervised staff on various engagements. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Accountant at Large & Gilbert, P.C. from January 2004 to February 2006, performing audits, reviews, compilations, and corporate tax returns for contractors and providing assistance with month-end close procedures and payroll tax reports.
Robert began their career as a Staff Accountant at Thomas Howell Ferguson P.A. CPAs from August 2002 to January 2004, where they gained experience in audits, reviews, and compilations across various industries, including for-profit, not-for-profit, governmental, insurance, and 401(k) plans.
Robert Tysver, CPA, obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting and Finance, General from Florida State University - College of Business. Robert completed their undergraduate education from 1997 to 2002. In 2011, they obtained their CPA certification from the State Of Florida Board of Accountancy.
