Dawn Vuyelwa Mbalekwa is an experienced education professional currently serving as Education Manager at VVOB since November 2022. Previously, Mbalekwa held positions as a University Lecturer at the University of the Western Cape, Program Manager at Shine Literacy, and Director of Skills Development and Training at Mustard Seed Management Consulting. Additional experience includes serving as Education Training Leader at Deloitte and working as a Primary School Teacher at Teaching Personnel. Mbalekwa began a career in education with an early role as Personal Assistant to the Managing Director at GIZ. Mbalekwa holds a Master of Arts in Education, Gender and International Development from the Institute of Education, UCL, and a Bachelor of Education in Primary Education from Rhodes University.
