Christian Klijs-Helsemans, BN, MANP, possesses extensive experience in the field of mental health nursing and education. Currently serving as the Chair of the V&VN afdeling GGz Verpleegkunde and a member of various committees within Verpleegkundigen & Verzorgenden Nederland since April 2014, Christian also holds positions as a Nurse Specialist in GGZ at both Het Parkhuis and Careyn. In addition to practical roles, Christian contributes to academia as a lecturer at Avans+ and previously worked on editorial projects for Bohn Stafleu van Loghum. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Nursing with a specialization in Elderly Care and multiple certifications in project management and nursing education, highlighting a commitment to advancing the field through both clinical practice and teaching.
