Carolyn Weir serves as the Executive Director of the J. Warren and Lois McClure Foundation since October 2019 and has held the position of Senior Philanthropic Advisor at The Vermont Community Foundation since April 2017. Carolyn's experience with The Vermont Community Foundation also includes roles as Philanthropic Advisor, Special Projects Advisor, and Community Philanthropy Fellow between 2011 and 2016. Prior to this, Carolyn worked as a Program Assistant at the Vermont Council on World Affairs and as a Marketing Intern at the Ticonderoga Revitalization Alliance in early 2011, as well as a Case Manager at the John Graham Emergency Shelter from 2009 to 2011. Carolyn Weir holds a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Marlboro College Graduate & Professional Studies and a BA in International Politics and Economics from Middlebury College, with additional studies at Alexandria University.
