Sharron Penfold is a seasoned professional in instructional design, currently serving as a Senior Instructional Designer at Vertex Professional Services since September 2023. Previously, Sharron worked as a Training Content Creator at CubeLogic and an Instructional Designer at Resource Group, with earlier experience as an E-learning Developer at iTrain Legal and a Multimedia Designer at RINA. At Ysgol Rhyd y Gors, Sharron contributed as a School Governor, focusing on embedding Restorative Practice and chairing the Safeguarding Committee. From 2013 to 2020, Sharron held roles as a Learning and Development Advisor at Carmarthenshire County Council, specializing in digital skills and ICT, after initially working as a Programmer and ICT Trainer with the same organization. Early in Sharron's career included a position as a Technical Support Officer at ntl Internet and an Administrative Assistant role at Welsh Quality Meats. Sharron is currently pursuing a degree in Access, STEM through The Open University, building on a strong educational foundation from Milford Haven Grammar School.
