Kayla Renner is a Legislative Affairs Manager for Space Systems at the Aerospace Industries Association since April 2023, bringing extensive experience in government affairs and advocacy. Previously, Kayla worked as a Government Affairs Appropriations Contractor for Virgin Orbit, focusing on legislative monitoring and policy analysis. Additional roles include a Legislative Fellow at Monument Advocacy and an intern in the Office of New York State Assemblymember Brian Barnwell, where Kayla engaged with community groups and supported legislative initiatives. Kayla’s background also includes positions in customer service at Nordstrom and research assistance at the University of Arizona. Academic qualifications consist of a Master's degree in International Relations from The George Washington University, dual Bachelor's degrees in Political Science and French Studies from the University of Arizona, and substantial international study experience.
