Chelsea S. has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2009 when they attended the University of San Diego, obtaining their Bachelor's degree in Accounting with French and Asian Studies minors, and continuing to obtain their Masters of Science in Taxation. While at the University, they were a Finance Manager for the volleyball team. In 2013, Chelsea S. interned with AKT CPAs, Advisors, Consultants in their tax and audit departments. Following their graduation in 2014, they became a full-time employee of the firm, working on both tax and audit engagements and mentoring the new interns.

In 2015, Chelsea S. joined \u0124AUS as the only accountant, managing cost accounting, budgeting, AR, AP, payroll, month end journal entries, preparing monthly financial statements, monthly budget reviews with the CEO and CFO, and preparing for the year-end audit. Chelsea also handled a number of HR items. In 2016, they joined Ibotta, Inc. as a Staff Accountant, managing accounts payable, Concur, and a number of month end close procedures.

In 2018, Chelsea S. joined Carbon Energy Corporation as a Senior Accountant, responsible for month end close procedures, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, income statement analysis, and reviewing and posting proposed journal entries from peers. In 2019, they joined Gradiant Energy Services as a Senior Accountant, in charge of their monthly close and financial reporting process and researching and implementing two new softwares for the company.

In 2020, Chelsea S. joined MPLX LP as a Senior Operations Accountant, working on a variety of teams and learning new systems and processes. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Voyager Space as an Accounting Project Manager and Senior Accountant.

Chelsea S. attended the University of San Diego from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Chelsea then pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) in Taxation from the same university, which they completed in 2014. During this time, they also attended the Strasbourg School of Management from 2011 to 2012, studying Management.
