Joseph Shapiro, CPA, currently serves as the Director of Accounting for both Vox Media and Group Nine Media, roles held since February 2022 and May 2020, respectively. Prior experience includes positions as Finance Director at Hall & Partners, where Joseph managed finance functions and oversaw compliance with Sarbanes Oxley requirements, and as Associate Director and Controller at The CementBloc, overseeing a team and managing a significant monthly close process. Joseph's career also features roles as Senior Accountant at Reprise Media, Internal Auditor and Intercompany Staff Accountant at Interpublic Group, contributing to various financial audits and reporting processes. Joseph holds a Master of Science in Public Accounting from St John's University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Yeshiva University.
