Jacques du Toit has an extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. Jacques started their career at Plessey Cellular, where they held various sales roles, including Internal Sales Consultant, External Sales Consultant, Corporate Accounts Manager, Field Sales Supervisor, Regional Sales Manager, and National Sales Manager. At Plessey Cellular, they played a key role in developing call accounting software and expanding the company's sales channels.
Jacques later joined Orion Telecom, where they served as the National Channel Development Manager, National Sales Manager, Sales and Marketing Director, and eventually as the Managing Director. In these roles, they were responsible for formulating and implementing sales strategies, managing relationships with mobile operators, and overseeing the development of staff. Jacques successfully launched Managed Voice Services and implemented several initiatives to drive sales growth.
Jacques du Toit is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Vox Telecom. In this position, they lead the company in providing innovative and reliable ICT solutions to a wide range of South African clients, including corporates, government organizations, SMEs, and consumers. Jacques is focused on evolving the telecommunications industry by offering cost-effective yet robust products and services, including cloud and managed solutions.
Jacques du Toit completed their high school education at Hoërskool Brandwag in 1991. Jacques went on to pursue a B.Com degree in Business Management with a focus on Economics and Business Accounting at the University of Pretoria, which they completed in 1994.
