Nils Gjerstad is a seasoned communication professional with extensive experience in corporate and employee communication. Currently serving as a Communication Strategist at Volvo Cars since June 2024, Nils focuses on story development and management of significant communication projects. Prior to this role, Nils held the position of Senior Communication Manager at Hiab, where responsibilities included corporate and investor communication, PR and media relations, and reputation management. Nils also served as Corporate Communications Manager at The Future Group AS, overseeing financial PR and international storytelling about immersive technology. Earlier roles included Communications Consultant at Gjerni and multiple positions at MTG, culminating as Group Public Relations Manager, where Nils led corporate communications for a diverse range of TV channels. Nils began a career in editing at LookSmart before earning a BAA in Communications and Journalism from Goldsmiths, University of London.
