Mauricio Melo Gonzalez is an accomplished Lead User Experience Designer at Volvo Cars since January 2024, with a proven track record in user experience design across various prominent companies. Currently serving as Lead Instructor at BrainStation, Mauricio teaches UX/UI Design fundamentals globally in 10-week online courses. Previous experience includes roles as VP of User Experience Design Lead at J.P. Morgan Private Bank and Chase, where Mauricio managed multi-disciplinary teams to enhance customer-centric digital experiences. Earlier positions at GE Digital, R/GA, and other organizations showcase expertise in innovative application development, user research, and design documentation. Mauricio holds a Master’s degree in Interaction Design from New York University and multiple undergraduate degrees in Graphic Design and Industrial Design.
