Johannes Foufas is a highly experienced software architect currently serving as Lead Architect at Volvo Cars since November 2013, focusing on improving developer experiences with technologies such as Zuul and Bazel. Prior roles at Volvo Cars include Senior Principal Software Engineer and Product Owner, along with Principal Engineer in Function Development. Johannes's previous experience at Volvo Trucks from January 2006 to November 2013 involved roles as Function Developer and Optimization/Function Developer in EATS, as well as serving as Application Leader and Application Engineer. Johannes began their career with Volvo Car Group and Cwejman Electronics, specializing in function development for analogue electronics. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology and a Gymnasie degree in Mechanical Engineering from Polhem.
