Ranjith Kumar Baskaran is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in electrical and electronic components within the automotive sector. Currently serving as the Lead Engineer in Power Management at Volvo Trucks North America since April 2023, Ranjith has held notable positions including Principal Engineer at Volvo Group Trucks Technology, where leadership spanned multiple teams focused on HMI, sensors, and power networks. Prior to this, Ranjith was the Acting Group Manager and Engineering Lead at Ford Motor Company, overseeing the development of critical electrical systems. Ranjith's background also includes significant roles at Volvo 3P and Ashok Leyland, developing an array of electrical components and fostering close collaboration with customers for requirement gathering. Ranjith holds a Master of Technology in Power Electronics and Drives from Vel Tech and a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Meenakshi Sundararajan Engineering College.
