Sonia Almeida Soares has over a decade of experience in human resources and organizational development, currently serving as the Director of Inclusion & Diversity, Employer Branding & HR Communications at Volvo Group since July 2013. Prior to this role, Sonia Almeida Soares held the position of Lead People & Culture Business Partner at Group Trucks Technology and worked at Honeywell Technology Solutions as a Strategic Business HR Partner, focusing on training, retention, performance management, and employee engagement. Sonia Almeida Soares also served as Manager of Human Resources at Praxair, overseeing various HR functions. An academic background includes a PGDM in Human Resource Management from IMDR and a B.E. in Electronics & Telecommunications from Goa University.
