Karsten Carroll's work experience includes a range of finance and leadership roles at Volvo Construction Equipment and Champion Road Machinery. Karsten started their career at Champion Road Machinery, where they held various finance and accounting roles from 1995 to 2000. In 2000, they joined Volvo Construction Equipment as the Business Line Controller for Volvo Motor Graders. Karsten later became the Vice President Finance & CFO for Volvo Motor Graders, where they implemented process improvements and streamlined internal controls. In 2007, Karsten joined Volvo Construction Equipment's Road Machinery Business Line as the Vice President Finance & CFO. Karsten played a key role in integrating Ingersoll Rand Road Construction into Volvo CE and oversaw the consolidation of plants to achieve annual savings. Karsten went on to hold other leadership positions within Volvo Construction Equipment, including Vice President Finance, Operations Americas, and Vice President Change Management, Operations Americas. In these roles, they drove strategic projects, implemented organizational changes, and led cross-functional teams. Most recently, Karsten served as the Director Finance, Shippensburg Operations, where they achieved significant cost reductions and improved the quality and consistency of financial support.
Karsten Carroll has studied at Wilfrid Laurier University where they completed a Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus on Business Administration, Management and Operations. Additionally, they have obtained certification as a Management Accountant from the Province of Ontario.
