Chao Lu is an experienced legal and business management professional currently serving as Contract and Claim Manager at Volvo Buses since July 2024. Previously, Chao held the positions of Senior Manager and Manager of Contract and Business Management at Fingerprint Cards from May 2017 to March 2024. Chao's experience includes serving as Legal Counsel at CEVT from September 2014 to September 2016 and as Chief Legal Counsel Assistant at Geely Holding Group from March 2013 to August 2014. Earlier in Chao's career, service as Secretary to the Director of the Institute for Human Rights at China University of Political Science and Law was undertaken from September 2009 to January 2013. Chao holds multiple advanced degrees, including a Master of Laws from Lund University focused on Business and Human Rights, a Master’s degree in Human Rights and Democratization from the European Inter-University Centre, and a Master’s degree in International Human Rights Law from China University of Political Science and Law.
