Martin Paces is a Lead Systems Engineer specializing in Powertrain and Chassis at Volta Trucks since March 2022, having previously served as a Senior Systems Engineer for Electrical Powertrain. Prior to Volta Trucks, Martin Paces was a Senior Automotive Engineer at Bosch from 2015 to February 2022, focusing on technical solutions and automotive control software for electric and hybrid vehicles. Significant contributions included serving as Software Feature Owner for eAxle coordination and HV battery charging, as well as leading the concept development for e-Clutch software. Earlier experience includes a role as a Test Engineer at Knorr-Bremse AG, developing test plans and executing railway friction tests, and as a Project Assistant at Vienna University of Technology, working on test rig design. Martin Paces holds a Dr.techn. and a Dipl.-Ing. in Mechanical Engineering from Technische Universität Wien and a Matura from BRG Astgasse, Vienna.
