Eray Canli is an experienced engineering manager specializing in battery management systems at Volocopter since March 2020. In this role, Eray provides technical and disciplinary leadership to a multidisciplinary team in the integration of complex battery management systems for eVTOL aircraft. Previous positions include Compliance Verification Engineer and Battery Management System Owner, with responsibilities ranging from requirements capturing to compliance evidence creation for type certification. Eray's prior experience spans roles as a Senior Hardware Design Engineer at BNA, where development focused on optimized airborne electronic hardware, and as an Embedded Systems Engineer at ANDAR and Kare Medical, contributing to military electromechanical devices and medical treatment devices, respectively. Eray holds a Master’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering and a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics from Middle East Technical University.
