Carolyn O'Dwyer serves as the Next Gen Head Coach for the Women’s National Team at Volleyball Canada since September 2021, following a role as the Canada Games Head Coach for Volleyball Alberta from May 2019 to November 2022. Carolyn's coaching experience includes positions as a Sessional Instructor, Compliance Officer, and Assistant Coach with the University of Alberta's Athletics Department from September 2017 to November 2022. Additionally, Carolyn was the Head Coach for the 17u Girls team at Volleyball Alberta from January 2018 to August 2018 and directed the Calgary Beach Volleyball Club from February 2013 to 2015, creating programs for high-performance athletes. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Coaching from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor’s degree in Business/Commerce from Mount Royal University, complemented by a High School Diploma with Great Distinction from West Island College.
