Alan Taylor serves as Group HR Director at Volex since April 2019, where significant accomplishments include navigating challenges posed by the global pandemic and driving a remarkable increase in share price and revenues. Alan Taylor is also a Governor at Sidcot School, contributing to the institution's recognition for outstanding educational partnerships. Previously, Alan Taylor held key HR leadership roles at DS Smith, including Director of HR Transformation and HR & Safety Director for the Plastics Division, overseeing HR initiatives across multiple international locations. Additionally, Alan Taylor has experience as a Non-Executive Director for Sustainability West Midlands and chaired the Trustees of the DENSO Manufacturing UK Pension Scheme. Alan Taylor's extensive education includes multiple master's degrees in law and health and safety, along with a bachelor's degree in Marine Biology.
