Rebecca Herold is a seasoned professional in information security, privacy, IT, and compliance, currently serving as the CEO and Cofounder of Privacy & Security Brainiacs and the owner of Rebecca Herold, LLC, also known as The Privacy Professor, established in 2004. In addition to advisory roles for the Los Angeles City College Cybersecurity Certificate Program and the Westchester Biotech Project, Rebecca hosts a radio show on VoiceAmerica focusing on data security and privacy. As a founder of SIMBUS, LLC, Rebecca has developed key methodologies and tools for privacy compliance. Additionally, Rebecca holds a distinguished fellowship at the Ponemon Institute and serves as an advisor to 3M and DFLabs. Educational achievements include a Master of Arts in Computer Science & Education from the University of Northern Iowa and a Bachelor of Science in Math and Computer Science from the University of Central Missouri.
