Margaret Zhang is the Editor in Chief at Vogue since March 2021 and co-founder of BACKGROUND, a global cultural consultancy established in January 2017, specializing in building cultural capital through an agile network model. Previously, Zhang served as Creative Director at Large for Asia at The Face Magazine from March 2019 to April 2020, where responsibilities included overseeing Asian content across platforms and developing relationships with various contributors. Zhang holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom), both from the University of Sydney, with studies completed between 2011 and 2016.
