Chloe Schama is a seasoned editor and writer with extensive experience in the publishing industry. Currently serving as a Senior Editor at Vogue since May 2017, Schama has also contributed as a Freelance Writer and Books Columnist for Smithsonian Magazine since August 2008, with the first book published in March 2011. Previous roles include Executive Editor of Elle.com at ELLE Magazine from August 2015 to August 2017, and various editorial positions at The New Republic from August 2010 to August 2015, including Story Editor and Assistant Managing Editor. Additional experience includes working as a Grants Writer at The Studio Theatre in Washington DC and a Digital Media Graduate Intern at National Public Radio. Schama's early career involved serving as Assistant to the Literary Editor at The New Republic Magazine. Educationally, Schama earned an M Phil in English from the University of Cambridge and a BA in History and Literature from Harvard University.
