Jeroen Waanders is currently an Assistent podotherapeut at Voetencentrum Wender since September 2022. Prior experience includes roles as a Docent/onderzoeker hbo-verpleegkunde at Saxion Hogescholen from January 2021 to September 2022 and a Promovendus at the University Medical Center Groningen, where research focused on eccentric muscle function during walking in healthy young adults and the elderly from September 2016 to May 2021. Additional academic experience includes serving as a Junior docent at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and involvement in promotion research abroad. Jeroen Waanders holds a PhD in Human Movement Sciences with a specialization in Healthy Ageing from the University of Groningen, as well as a Master's degree in the same field and a Bachelor's degree in Movement Sciences. Currently, Jeroen Waanders is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Podotherapy at Fontys University of Applied Sciences.
