Sieger Dijkstra is an experienced professional currently serving in multiple leadership roles, including as a board member at VNO-NCW and as Chair of VNO-NCW Noord since December 2019. Dijkstra has been an active member of the Economic Board Noord Nederland since January 2020 and holds the position of Board Member at Stichting Nederland Onderneemt Maatschappelijk! since July 2023. As Honorary Consul of the Federal Republic of Germany in Northern Netherlands since May 2017, Dijkstra facilitates collaboration between Germany and the Netherlands in various sectors. In addition, Dijkstra is the Director of TurnNext, a company focused on revitalizing struggling organizations, and is a co-founder of The Firestarters. Engagements also include serving on the Advisory Board of Novar and participating in the Supervisory Board of Eurosonic Noorderslag. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Groningen, conferred in 1994.
