Ewald L.J. van Hal currently serves as a bestuurslid at Stichting Cluster 6 and as a member of the general board at VNO-NCW since July 2023. As director of Koninklijke Nederlandse Bouwkeramiek (KNB) since March 2001, Ewald has advocated for the collective interests of the Dutch construction ceramics industry across various environmental and regulatory matters. Ewald has held multiple leadership roles including bestuurslid at SKG-IKOB Certificatie B.V., member of the general and daily board at the Dutch Association of Supplying Building Materials Industry (NVTB), and bestuursvoorzitter at Stichting Stapelbouw, which focuses on improving the quality of masonry constructions. Previous experience includes serving as a board member for Cerame-Unie and the NVTB Branch Consultation. Ewald's educational background includes a master's degree in law from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and various professional development programs.
