David Lawson is a seasoned lawyer with extensive experience in the legal field. Currently serving at VLP Law Group LLP since May 2009, David has also worked as Outside Counsel for Silicon Valley Bank since 1998. Previous roles include lawyer positions at Troutman Sanders LLP from 2004 to 2009, Cooley Godward Kronish LLP from 1998 to 2003, and in-house counsel at CapitalSource from 2003 to 2004. David obtained a Juris Doctor degree from USC Gould School of Law between 1990 and 1993 and completed a Bachelor of Arts degree at Dartmouth College from 1986 to 1990.
