Sophie Manigart is a prominent academic and business leader with extensive experience in entrepreneurial finance and education. Since September 1992, Sophie has served as a Professor in Entrepreneurial Finance and Partner at Vlerick Business School, while also holding the position of Full Professor at Ghent University since 1987. In addition to academic roles, Sophie is an active board member for organizations such as ParticipatieMaatschappij Vlaanderen and EnergyVision, and has been a member of various boards including BW Ryhove and the former AXA Belgium. Sophie's previous positions include directorships at BAN Vlaanderen and board memberships at Gimv and Women On Board. Sophie holds a Master in General Management from Vlerick Business School and a Master's degree in Electronic Engineering from Ghent University.
