Hans Arents is an experienced professional in digital government and e-government strategy, serving as a Senior Advisor at Digitaal Vlaanderen since May 2015. Prior to this role, Hans held positions at the Flemish Government, including Senior Advisor for e-government strategy and Chief Knowledge Officer. Additional experience includes consulting roles at I.T. Works bvba and OFFIS n.v., as well as coordinating hypermedia systems projects at the Catholic University Leuven. Hans began a career as a reserve officer in the Belgian Army. Academically, Hans holds postgraduate qualifications in business administration, and master’s degrees in informatics and mathematics from Ghent University, complemented by foundational education at Sint-Lievenscollege Gent.
