Jacob Bille Krogh has extensive experience in the finance and investment industry. Jacob Bille is currently the Head of Alternative Investments at VKR Holding A/S since May 2022. Prior to this, from November 2017 to May 2022, they served as the CEO and Board Member at PFA Barnaby.
Before joining PFA Barnaby, Jacob worked at PFA from 2008 to 2022, where they held various roles including Principal - Alternative Investments, Senior Portfolio Manager, and Portfolio Manager. In these positions, they were responsible for managing and overseeing the asset management activities, particularly in private equity, credit, and infrastructure asset classes.
Prior to their time at PFA, Jacob worked at CIBC World Markets as a Director in Mergers & Acquisitions, providing advisory services to private equity sponsors across Europe. Jacob Bille also worked as an Assistant to the Board at North Media A/S and as an Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton.
Jacob began their career in finance at WestLB Panmure, where they served as a Manager and Executive in Mergers & Acquisitions. Jacob Bille also gained valuable experience during their internship at ABN AMRO Bank N.V.
Throughout their career, Jacob has developed expertise in alternative investments, asset management, mergers & acquisitions, and financial advisory services.
Jacob Bille Krogh has a diverse education history starting with their high school diploma in Mathematics from Sorø Akademis Skole, obtained from 1992 to 1995. Jacob Bille then pursued a BA (Hons) degree in International Business from Regent's University London, completed between 1996 and 1999. Additionally, in 1997 and 1998, they attended EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht, although no degree was specified for this period.
Moving forward, Jacob obtained a Dual Language MBA in International Business from IESE Business School from 2002 to 2004. In 2009, they pursued further education by completing a Private Equity program at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business Executive Education, specializing in Investments and Securities. During the same year, they also obtained a Certified Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) certification from the CAIA Association, focusing on Investments and Securities.
Jacob continued their executive education in 2019, attending Harvard Business School Executive Education for a program called "Value Creation Through Effective Boards" with a concentration in Corporate Governance.
In addition to their academic accomplishments, Jacob Bille Krogh also obtained the CAIA Charterholder certification from the CAIA Association in November 2010.
