Dirk Slabbinck is an experienced professional in the fields of architecture and engineering, currently serving as Executive Officer at VK Architects & Engineers since January 2016 and as Chief Technology Officer at VK Group since January 2012. Dirk has led the development of expertise in sustainable design, MEP engineering, structural engineering, and architectural design. Previously, Dirk held the position of Business Director for the Buildings Department, overseeing business development in sectors including office and residential buildings, education, and hospitality. Dirk's career at VK Group includes roles as Managing Director and Director of Flanders & Development of New Technologies. Dirk began professional experience as a Mechanical Project Engineer from 1985 to 2001. Dirk graduated from the University of Ghent with a degree in Civil Engineering and Architecture between 1979 and 1983.
