Craig Gomulka is currently serving as Chief Financial Officer for Health Fidelity, a growth-stage health IT company focused on technology-based risk analytics for health plans and risk-bearing providers.
At Health Fidelity, Craig oversees the Finance, Human Resources, and Legal teams and is responsible for financial oversight in all areas of the organization, financial planning and analysis, forecasting and budgeting, financial and key performance indicator (KPI) development and reporting, and risk management. Craig’s responsibilities also include corporate development, governance, board management, corporate strategy, and partnership structuring and negotiation.
Before joining Health Fidelity, Craig served as an Executive in Residence at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (“UPMC”) focusing on business and corporate development, strategic partnerships, and supporting existing portfolio companies. At UPMC, Craig led the acquisition of RxAnte and also worked on developing business plans and strategies around identified health IT products and capabilities built within UPMC to spin out as new companies, or to license or divest the technology to external entities.
Prior to UPMC, Craig was a Vice President at Highmark Health. Highmark Health is a $18 billion health and wellness company and one of the largest health insurers and providers in the United States. For Highmark Health, Craig was responsible for providing business and corporate development support for business units on various initiatives including partnership structures and strategy, joint ventures, vendor assessments and valuations in addition to identifying and executing strategic investments.
Craig holds a Bachelor’s degree in Geology from Colgate University, and a Master of Industrial Administration degree from Carnegie Mellon University. Craig has also earned a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
