Jason Emricson is the current Director of Operations at Vivacity Tech PBC. Prior to their current position, Emricson served as the Executive Director of Technology & Operations for District 300 Schools from February 2013 to April 2022. In this role, they project managed a student information system change (SIS) from Infinite Campus to PowerSchool SIS, created cross-functional business process review teams to ensure that the district was following best practices, and lead teams that used the six-sigma methodology for process analysis. Additionally, Emricson managed a District-wide change management process, lead the Districts School Utilization and Capacity Committee, which handles student enrollments, school utilization, program movement, and the District’s boundaries, and worked with the nine villages on housing development projects.

Before their time at District 300 Schools, Emricson served as the Information Technology Director at Consolidated School District 158 from June 2006 to February 2013. In this role, they were responsible for managing the district’s technology infrastructure and ensuring that all district facilities had the necessary technology resources. Additionally, they oversaw the district’s computer network and telecommunications systems and provided support to district staff on technology-related issues.

Emricson began their career in 2002 as a Database Analyst for Stephen Fossler Company a Deluxe(R) Company. In this role, they were responsible for designing and developing databases to meet the company’s business needs. Jason also provided support to users of the databases and performed maintenance and updates as needed.

Jason Emricson holds a Master's degree in Computer Information Systems from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor's of Science in Telecommunications Management from Illinois State University.
