Paul Landázuri has a diverse work experience in software engineering. Paul is currently working at VivaCity as a Software Engineering Team Lead, where they have been since September 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as a Software Engineer at VivaCity from June 2021 to September 2022, and before that, they worked in the Cloud Team, refactoring a React frontend to use TypeScript, working on the Node.js backend, developing a new dashboard, and integrating with Golang micro-services.
Before joining VivaCity, Paul worked as a Full Stack Engineer in a freelance capacity from September 2014 to February 2020. During this time, they gained experience in various projects as a freelancer.
Paul also has experience as a Lead Software Engineer at UPANDGO, where they led a team in redesigning a platform and implementing agile and DevOps guidelines. Paul was at UPANDGO from November 2018 to July 2019.
Paul has also worked as a Full Stack Engineer at Botgen, where they developed a unified frontend for two platforms using React and NodeJS APIs. This role lasted from January 2018 to June 2018.
Additionally, Paul worked at Voyhoy as a Full Stack Engineer from October 2016 to November 2017, and as a Software Engineer Intern during an internship in April 2016, where they helped develop web service implementations and test the front-end.
Before their professional experience, Paul had a short-term role as a Stagiaire at Universidad EIA - Escuela de IngenierÃa de Antioquia in 2013.
Early in their career, Paul was a Project Manager at CEFIT, where they led a solidarity project to educate young students about open-source software, programming languages, and operating systems. This role lasted from September 2012 to July 2013.
Paul Landázuri completed their education in a variety of institutions and fields of study. Paul started their education at Cité Scolaire Internationale de Lyon from 2006 to 2009, where they earned their Baccalauréat in the scientific field. Paul then attended Lycée Champollion from 2009 to 2011 and Lycée La Martinière Monplaisir from 2011 to 2012, both focusing on sciences physiques.
Afterward, they pursued a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Information Systems Integration and Deployment at Télécom SudParis from 2012 to 2016. During this time, they also obtained a Licentiate degree in Sciences Politiques from Université Paris 8 from 2014 to 2015.
In 2015, Paul gained further knowledge in Systèmes d'information de gestion, général by completing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México.
In addition to their formal education, Paul also obtained a certification from Deutsche Kultusminister, specifically the Kultusministerkonferenz - KMK, in 2008.
