Hans Funke is a seasoned professional in the field of physical chemistry with extensive experience in academia and industry. Currently serving as a Scientific Advisor and Consultant at VitriVax since January 2021, Hans previously held positions at the University of Colorado Boulder College of Engineering & Applied Science, where contributions included being a Senior Research Associate, Associate Professor Adjunct, and Research Associate. Key areas of expertise include zeolite membranes, solar thermal cycles, photochemistry, materials development for semiconductor applications, and catalyst research at BASF. Hans holds a PhD and a Master's degree in Physical Chemistry from Heidelberg University, completed between 1980 and 1991.
