Richard Egan has extensive experience in the energy and commodities sectors, currently serving as a Business Developer for Vitol since April 2011, focusing on West & Central Africa. Prior to this role, Richard held key positions such as Director of Metals & Mining Finance at Societe Generale and Head of African Business Development at Fortis SA/NV. With a background in managing commodity structured debt and risk analysis at BNP Paribas, Richard has developed a strong expertise in finance related to natural resources. Richard holds a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics from the University of Reading.
